PART 2 " how to know you were AZN in the late 90s, early 2000's"

This is just for shits and giggles guys, so don't take it too personal if all of this STILL pertains to you. Also, these pics are from my old school stash, so you may or may not see yourselves in some. And if you think the blurred out pics are you, it might just be! haha. (the only reason I blurred them out is because i wasn't sure if they would mind me posting their faces). ENJOY!

1. Nautica, Tommy, Polo

Jackets and coats and bubble vests ...oh my! don't forget the fleeces, headbands, and scarves to match! You were definitely AZN if you had any of these items in your wardrobe. And don't forget about the Nautica foam key chains that we would take off the jackets.

2. Can't have a Sanrio Planner without a matching Sanrio wallet!

Money was not kept in these wallets. This is where your friends "business cards" (yes, i said business cards!) were stored  and also their pictures. And what kind of pictures you ask.....go to #3

3. "Cali pics" / "Dream shot pics"

These were considered "AZN trading cards". Once you see someone you know, you give them a picture of you. There is way more where this came from! ( i just didn't want to embarrass some of you guys). Btw, Why was it "cool" to look away in pics, or put your hand on your chin, or even do the "hard look" look ? haha

4. Bangs 

Dyed hair and Bangs back then wasn't just for the chicks! I think half of the guys who had bangs back then can't even grow hair in the front of their head anymore. Sorry guys, maybe too much bleach for you!?

5. Chinese dresses or shirts

You wore these to some kind of formal event. If it wasn't a dress, you had a Chinese shirt or a top that had chinese characters on them.

6. Tommy girl & Curve

awww..how cute! You matched your AZN boyfriend and his brand of cologne. haha. (I shouldn't even talk.)

7. Sweater Vests and khakis

How many did you guys really have? or did you just wear the same ones over and over?

8. "Ricers"

You either owned one, was in a car crew, dated a guy with one, or wished you had the money to buy a kit for your car to make it look riced out because all you had were those vinyl visors and stickers.

9. Revlon's Expresso or Mocha 

This is for the ladies. Dark lip liner with a light lipstick or gloss to go with. Man, no comment.

10. A.S.L ?

 ChicAg0AzNs, pinoypinay, AIM, asianavenue, apt. 107, etc.etc.etc. Some people "Catfished" before they even knew what it meant!



This "AZN" list can go on and on. But I must admit, if it wasn't for the good old "AZN days" years ago, I wouldn't have met some of you reading this right now and I've gained some close and dearest friends that are practically family to me now because of those years.
